Go to www.o60.me/contests Enola Holmes 2 Netflix Following the success of the first Netflix film about Sherlock Holmes’s fiesty younger sister – based on the young adult fiction series by Nancy Springer – Millie Bobby Brown (Enola), Henry Cavill (Sherlock Holmes) and Helena Bonham Carter (Eudoria Holmes) are reprising their roles for the much-anticipated sequel. Having successfully solved her first case in the original film, Enola has now set up her own detective agency, but is finding the going tough – until a young girl approaches her to try to locate her missing sister. In what turns out to be a mysterious case involving a dangerous conspiracy, Enola finds herself thrust into eye-opening adult worlds, from London’s sinister factories, to bright and bawdy music halls and society’s upper echelons. ON THE BOX AT THE MOVIES Seriously Red Musical Comedy Fans of quirky Aussie comedies such as Muriel’s Wedding and Strictly Ballroom will be lining up to enjoy this fun, frenzied romp – as will lovers of Dolly Parton and her music. A realtor known as Red (Krew Boylan, who also wrote the script), misreads the dress code for her work party and ends up finding herself a brand new career as a Dolly Parton tribute artist. Entering the crazy world of impersonators – from Freddie Mercury to Elton John and Barbara Streisand – Red has her sights set on partnering with a Kenny Rogers tribute act (Daniel Webber). This soon leads She Said Biographical Drama This gripping biopic recounts the efforts of The New York Times investigative journalists Jodi Kantor (Zoe Kazan) and Megan Twohey (Carey Mulligan), who exposed the sexual abuse and misconduct claims against powerful film producer Harvey Weinstein. Their work would be the launchpad of the #metoo movement in Hollywood and see Weinstein eventually face a lengthy prison sentence. Based on the book of the same name written by Avatar: The Way of Water Science-Fiction Thirteen years after Avatar amazed cinema-goers with its spectacular visual effects and impactful eco storyline, James Cameron’s sequel is set to do it all again. We return to Pandora to pick up the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) – who left behind his human body to permanently join the Na’vi – and his Na’vi wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), the clan’s future leader, who now have a brood of their own. As the RDA mining operation returns to Pandora, the family is forced to seek refuge in the reef. Expect plenty of captivating underwater scenes, as the clan go to desperate lengths to save each other and their home. the pair, the film details the challenges the women faced bringing the story to light, in the face of an industry that had been covering up sexual assault and harassment for decades. The Crown, Season 5 Netflix With the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II bringing about a changing of the guard and renewed global attention to the royal family, the penultimate season of The Crown is its most highly-anticipated yet. The fifth season will see Imelda Staunton take over the role of Queen Elizabeth, with Jonathan Pryce portraying Prince Philip, but the storyline will also focus heavily on all the dramatic events that took place between Prince Charles (now played by Dominic West) and Princess Diana (portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki) – including their divorce, Diana’s infamous TV interview with Martin Bashir, and her romances with Dr Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed. The season will also draw heavily from the queen’s self-confessed annus horribilis ‘horrible year’ of 1992, which along with Charles and Diana’s split, saw the divorce of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, as well as a serious fire in Windsor Castle. The new season drops in November on Netflix. Yellowstone, Season 5 Stan Obsessed fans of this American neo- Western drama (of which there are many), are eagerly awaiting Season 5, available on Stan from November 14, following Season 4’s bloody climax. The series centres around John Dutton (Kevin Costner), the widowed, sixth-generation patriach of the Dutton family and operator of the massive Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, which is constantly under threat from the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation and land developers. Season 5 will see plenty of flashback scenes, as Josh Lucas reprises his role as the young John Dutton – while Aussie acting royalty Jacki Weaver will return as the Duttons’ lastest business rival, Market Equities CEO Caroline Warner.
