Daisy Edgar-Jones is captivating as Kya, an abandoned girl who grew up alone in the perilous marshlands of North Carolina in the 1950s and ‘60s – the infamous “Marsh Girl” of Barkley Cove. When two young men from town, Tate (Taylor John Smith) and Chase (Harris Dickinson) cross into her isolated world and one of them is found dead, Kya finds herself at the centre of suspicion. Bullet Train Action/Thriller If you like your movies fun, fast-paced and thrilling, then strap yourself in for this star-studded action flick set on a non-stop bullet train ride through modern-day Japan. Brad Pitt is at his charismatic best as Ladybug, an assassin pulled in for one last job by his handler Maria Beetle (Sandra Bullock). Once on board the train, on which he’s tasked to collect a briefcase, Ladybug discovers that four other assassins – Kimura, the Prince, Tangerine and Lemon – are also along for the ride. Elvis Musical/Drama This hotly anticipated film sees Australian filmmaker Baz Luhrmann bringing his distinctive brilliance to the life and music of the inimitable Elvis Presley (Austin Butler, who also voices all Elvis’s songs). It specifically focuses on the complex and troubled relationship with his mysterious manager Colonel Tom Parker (an almost unrecognisable Tom Hanks), as well as his ill- fated marriage to Priscilla Thor Superhero The God of Thunder, aka Thor (Chris Hemsworth), is on a quest like none other – to find inner peace. But his retirement from saving the world is interrupted when galactic killer Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) shows up with a mission to annihilate all the gods. To combat this threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi – the Kiwi actor is also the movie’s director), and ex-girlfriend (Natalie Portman), who inexplicably wields Thor’s hammer. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. A deep investigation into the death of the stunning icon has hit Netflix with The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes . Just as the title suggests, the documentary will explore Monroe’s death through unheard interviews from people who were close to her and knew her personally. The film tells Monroe’s story from the perspective of all the men she had relationships with – particularly the end when the Kennedys were told to end their relationship with the actress. It was then that Monroe began to crumble and struggle after being left alone which eventually led to her untimely death.
